Overview
Listings give you a powerful way to delve into the details of events in a specific domain. With the ability to add cohorts, apply filters, and segment rows, you can craft a table that precisely meets your needs, enabling in-depth analysis of various events' properties.
Use Cases
Here are some questions that you can solve using Listings:
What are the specific adverse events reported for patients in a particular age group?
What are the demographic characteristics of patients who experienced severe side effects?
What are the different lab values for patients who completed the study across the study visits?
Listings in Action
Let's build together a Listing to answer the following question:
What are the ALT values at baseline and at the 10th visit of patients who are less than or equal to 65 years old?
Follow along using this video to try to recreate this in Rivia.
Step 1: Create a Listing: Your First Step to Custom Data Tables
Open up a new Panel. You can start either by adding in a Cohort to filter down the patients you want to look at, or you can start directly by clicking on Events in the panel definition. This lets you create an event. The table's columns reflect the properties in the domain, while each row represents an event. You can add as many events from the same domain as needed.
In the above example, we added in the relevant Cohort for patients <= 65 years old. Then we add the relevant Events from Laboratory ► ALT.
Once this is added (at second 31 in the video), you can see all available properties in the Laboratory domain as columns in the listing. Each row is an event from Laboratory ► ALT.
Step 2: Use Filters to Narrow Down Your Data
Add a filter to the report by clicking "Filters".
In our case, we are only interested in events that happened during the Baseline and Visit 10. Select "Visit", and then the relevant condition "is" before selecting the visits you'd like to filter on.
Step 3: Add Segments for Grouping Rows
Create a segment by clicking "Segments". This lets you group rows within the listing, making the data more manageable.
In this example, we'll group the rows by Patient ► Id. You can add as many segments as needed!
Step 4: Tailor Your View
It's possible to sort, hide, show, or pin a specific column to the left or right side of your Listing by selecting the three vertical dots alongside any specific column header. This can help ensure that the data property columns you care most about are front and center
Export Your Listings to Excel
Once your listing contains all the information you need, you can export the table to an Excel file for further analysis outside of Rivia.
