You can apply Cohorts and Event filters directly to your dashboard and see their effect on all the panels simultaneously. This makes it easy to test the impact of changing a cohort or adding filters on multiple visualisations at once.

Creating a Filter

Click on + Filter in the filter box to add a new filter.

Then select in the tab the type of filter (Event or Cohort) you want to add. When using an Event filter, you can pick the domain, property, and value of your filter just as you would in the Report Editor.

When selecting a Cohort filter, you have the option to choose from previously saved filters or create a new one on the spot.

The filters you apply to your dashboard do not alter the underlying reports, but only modify the results seen in the dashboard itself. As such, feel free to experiment and explore different filter combinations without any impact on the underlying reports!

Save, Edit and Delete Filters

Click on Save To Board to save the filters you have created. This will ensure that your filters are available every time you open the dashboard. Moreover, everyone who has access to your dashboard will also be able to see the changes.

If you've made changes to the dashboard filters and want to go back to the previous state, you can use the Discard Changes button.

Clicking on a filter enable you to edit it.

You can also delete individual filters by clicking on the Delete button next to the name of the filter.

Applying Multiple Filters

You can add as many filters as you want. Experiment by adding multiple filters, including both Event and Cohort filters, to uncover patterns and gain new insights from your data!

Here's an example of applying filters to both the Arm and Site of the patients and the resulting visualisation.
